2012 McCloy Fellowships in Environmental Policy

Deadline: March 30, 2012

The American Council on Germany (ACG) is seeking applications for the McCloy Fellowships in Environmental Policy. McCloy Fellowships provide German and American mid-career professionals and academics with the opportunity to travel across the Atlantic for three weeks to undertake independent
research and meet with their counterparts to exchange best practices and foster professional and intellectual ties.

Western U.S. Graduate Research Workshop on the European Union

Deadline: April 2nd, 2012

The European Union Center of Excellence at the University of California, Berkeley; the Colorado European Union Center of Excellence at the University of Colorado Boulder; and the European Union Center of Excellence of Seattle at the University of Washington are pleased to announce and solicit applications for the fourth Western United States Graduate Research Workshop on the European Union, to be held at the University of California, Berkeley on May 4-5, 2012.

Bonn Graduate Student Fellowship Program

Deadline: April 10th, 2012

As part of an exchange agreement, the Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms University at Bonn will offer one 2012-13 academic year award and several short term awards to University of Wisconsin-Madison advanced graduate students who wish to follow an independent research program under the guidance of a senior faculty member.

The application deadline for the academic year and short-term awards is Tuesday, April 10, 2012, 4 PM. Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS):  Undergraduate and Graduate Fellowships

The online application for the Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) fellowships is now available. FLAS fellowships provide funding for students to acquire foreign language proficiency and training in area or international studies. FLAS awards are only available for certain world languages, and are contingent on federal funding.
