The Center for German and European Studies is pleased to announce that it has awarded four incoming Research Assistants. CGES secured renewed funding from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for 2019-2020 with an emphasis on transatlantic research exchanges between the United States and Germany. The renewal funds six themes from a wide breadth of subjects, and the descriptions can be found here: https://daadcenter.wisc.edu/research/. The CGES call for Research Assistantships were offered to well-qualified students whose research fit within the six CGES themes. The DAAD and The Graduate School at UW-Madison fund these awards and we thank them for their support. The recipients are:
